Rita Marie Hinnau

Rita was the loving wife to her husbands, Ronald S. Ptaszek, Peter Wain, and Joe Merimee. She was the beloved mother to Ron P. Ptaszek and Ronita Ptaszek. Rita was preceded in death by her sister Paulette Shoults. She also leaves behind her longtime partner and friend, Frank Tringali, and her well-loved dog, Ruby.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Rita's church, Gateway Assembly in Imlay City.

Visitation Thursday, April 30, 2026, from 3:00 pm - 8:00 pm, at Kaul Funeral Home 28433 Jefferson Ave., St. Clair Shores, Michigan 48081.

Funeral Service will take place on Friday, May 1, 2026, beginning with a gathering at 10:00 am, until time of service at 11:00 am, at the funeral home.

Directly following the service there will be a luncheon at the Fern Hill Golf Club 17600 Clinton River Rd, Clinton Township, MI 48038

Rita will be laid to rest with her parents, at a later date, at Resurrection Cemetery in Clinton Township, Michigan.
