Sherry Jean Sasek

Sherry J. Sasek (Traub), aged 69, was called home on February 25, 2018 surrounded by family, after a brief battle with pancreatic cancer. Sherry was born May 5, 1948, In Detroit, MI, the daughter of Ruth and the late Peter Traub. She is survived by her husband of forty-seven years, George Gary Sasek; loving children Lori (Marc) Chalut and Kevin Sasek; mother Ruth Traub; sisters Vicki (Fred) Genette, Karen (Stanley) Richards, and Janice (Paul) Strobel; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, extended family and friends. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be sent in her name to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network, www.pancan.org. Visitation, Friday, March 2, from 4:00-9:00 p.m. at Kaul Funeral Home, 28433 Jefferson Ave., St. Clair Shores. Funeral Service, Saturday, March 3 at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
