Thomas Aubrey Chatterton

Thomas Aubrey Chatterton, 77, of St. Clair Shores, passed away November 2, 2013, surrounded by his family at home. He was born June 28, 1936 to the late Perry and Anna (Brandenburg) Chatterton in Reed City, Michigan. Tom was a 1955 graduate of Lakeview High School. He attended Alma College and Macomb Community College. He was united in marriage to Mary Rose on December 4, 1976. Tom worked at Lakeview High School as a custodian for 30 years. After retirement, Tom enjoyed festivals/carnivals, bingo, Dave & Busters, watching Detroit sports teams, collecting model cars, and his pets. His greatest pride was his accomplishments in life despite his disability and his love for his two daughters. He is survived by his children, Cynthia (Ross) Markesino and Laura Chatterton (fiancé- Craig Gillman); great family friends, Michael and Cheryl Zito, Marisa (Derek)Newsome, and Philip Zito; his nieces and nephews, Lisa, Peter, Jane, Anne, and Kristen; and his Uncle John (Betty) Brandenburg. He was predeceased by his loving wife, Mary Rose, and brother, J. Roger.
