Timothy Dean Ryckman

Timothy D. Ryckman, born March 11, 1960, passed away on December 4, 2016. He is survived by his children Samantha (Robert) Leach and Kayla (Daniel) Barrios, grandchildren Rachel, Geovany, Arianna, and Isaac, brother Gerald (Judy) Ryckman. Timothy was preceded in death by his parents Gerald and Mildred, his brothers Ronald, Jon, and Randy, and his daughters Rachel and Randy. Timothy had a large personality and was always full of life and love. He enjoyed spending as much time with family and friends as there was in the day, especially with his grandchildren. He had a great sense of humor and loved to play jokes on his kids. He stood by his best friends since childhood and even maintained a weekly Dungeons and Dragons game for over 35 years. He enjoyed watching movies with his family, especially horror films. He loved teaching his children and grandchildren about music. He had a personal passion for writing and wrote several books and stories throughout his life. Timothy was also strong in faith and was an active member of Bethel Lutheran Church his entire life. He was comforted throughout his medical issues by his faith in God and reassured his family that he was at peace spiritually. A service to celebrate his life will be held at Bethel Lutheran Church January 4, 2017 at 3:00 p.m. Bethel Lutheran is located at 26400 Little Mack Ave, St. Clair Shores, MI 48081.
