Trudy Adela Conboy, age 89, left us peacefully surrounded by family and friends on September 16, 2023. She was born on January 31, 1934 in Detroit, to the late Frederick and Lillian (Weiss) Meyer. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 60 years, Stewart and her son, Kevin. She leaves behind her daughters, Kathy (Klaus) Conboy-Matten, Kristyn (Brett) Letwin; 7 grandsons, Christopher (Sheila), Dustin, Craig, Doug, Michael (Alex), Timothy (Jakob), Spencer; 1 granddaughter, Karissa (Brian); and 5 great-grandchildren, Kevin, Kira, Dominik, Eliora, and Stewart. Trudy was a woman who was strong willed, independent, and determined to the end. She was known for living on her own timeline, giving it to Jesus, and being highly organized. Everyone knew that to her “No” was a complete sentence. As a florist’s daughter, Trudy took pride in her expertise of flowers and plants. She was a proud mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Trudy was a resident of St. Clair Shores for 65 years, where she met her husband and raised her family near her beloved Lake St. Clair. She is now truly happy and at peace, being reunited with the love of her life, Stu. Memorial visitation, Friday, September 22, 2023 from 2:30 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. with a service at 4:00 p.m. at Kaul Funeral Home, 28433 Jefferson Ave., St. Clair Shores.
