Umbart Richard DiLodovico

Umbart Richard DiLodovico, age 88, of Troy, Michigan, passed away on July 28, 2025, surrounded by family. He was born on October 17, 1936, to parents Umbart and Gizela DiLodovico. He graduated from Eastern High School in Detroit in 1954. After graduation he served as a public servant as a Police Officer for the City of Detroit for 11 years. He later worked as a sales associate for Sears Roebuck for many years until his retirement.

Beloved husband of 67 years to Janet DiLodovico. Loving father of Marie (Hal) Brenner, John DiLodovico, Sandra Meerschaert, and Steven (ErinElissa) DiLodovico. Cherished grandfather of Amanda (Dan) Vought, Adam (Janess) Salusky, Paula Meerschaert, Chelsea Meerschaert, Andrew DiLodovico, and Kyle DiLodovico. Proud great-grandfather of Aidan Salusky. Dear brother of Judith Nastasi, Anita Tanita, and Ramon (Lou Tavoularis) DiLodovico; and preceded in death by his sister Lorraine Blake.

Umbart will be deeply missed by all who knew him well.

A visitation for Umbart will be held Monday, August 11, 2025 from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm at, Kaul Funeral Home, 28433 Jefferson Ave, St. Clair Shores, MI 48081.

Funeral Service will occur on Tuesday, August 12, 2025 beginning with a gathering at 11:00 am, until time of service at 12:00 pm at Kaul Funeral Home.
