William Edward Westwood

William Edward Westwood, age 88, of St. Clair Shores, Michigan passed away on July 28, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. William was born in Detroit, Michigan to parents Edward Westwood and Evelyn Westwood (Woolard). William is the beloved husband of 67 years to Barbara Westwood. Father to William M. (the late Judy) Westwood, Mary (Gerald) Socia and Edelyn Westwood. Cherished grandfather to Matthew (Emily) Socia, Leanne (Andrew) Snell, Amy (Anthony) Victor, Jeramie (Brittany) Westwood, and Morgan Westwood. Father-In-Law to Mary Beth Westwood. Great-Grandfather to Jacob Snell, Ryleigh Snell, Finley Socia, Grayson Socia, and Hayden Westwood. Dear brother to Eleanor (Jack) Diamond and Sarah (the late Robert) DeLange. Survived by loving nieces and nephews and long-time friends. William will be missed by all those who know him.

William will lie in-state on Tuesday, August 5, 2025, beginning at 9:30 am, until time of mass at 10:00 am, at St. Isaac Jogues Catholic Church 21100 Madison Street, St. Clair Shores, Michigan 48081.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations in memory of William are suggested to the Kirk Gibson Foundation for Parkinson’s Disease.
