Winford H. Caudill

Winford Caudill, age 88, passed away on February 25th, 2018. He was born to his parents James and Birgy (Maiden Name: Boggs) Caudill on May 28th, 1929 in Virginia. Winford was raised to read the Bible regularly, believed in the Lord deeply, and was a member of the Pentecostal Church of God for many years. He enjoyed 38 years of marriage together with his wife Madge, and after moving to Michigan, Winford worked at General Motors for over 30 years. Winford is a beloved father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and brother. He deeply touched the lives of his family and will be dearly missed.

Winford is survived by his children Christine Caudill, Vickie (Arnett) Caudill-Johnson, Timothy Caudill, and David (Shannon Kimball) Caudill; his grandchildren Tabetha Caudill, Matthew (Tara) Kimball, Brandon Caudill, Andrew Caudill, Aaron (Kira) Caudill, Sean Caudill, Marissa Caudill, Malorie Caudill, and Tyler Caudill; his great-grandchildren Kiley Caudill, Nissah Caudill, Roxanne Caudill-Rankin, Akari Caudill, and Maxx Kimball; and his siblings Shirley and Ann. He is also survived by his close friend and caregiver of 20 years, Sandy, whom his family is very grateful for.

Winford is preceded in death by his parents and by his siblings Nadine, Leonard, and Billy.

Visitation Monday, March 5 from 3-8p.m. at Kaul Funeral Home, 28433 Jefferson Ave., St. Clair Shores. Funeral will be held Tuesday at 10a.m. also at the funeral home.
