She now walks in beautiful gardens as she remembers the many people near and dear to her, smiling at the thought of all those she touched and stretched out her hand to. She thinks of the children she helped by donating to the charity Operation Smile, and her heart sings at the image of those smiles that she helped make a reality.
Betty began her lifelong volunteering journey with the Girl Guides, which sparked a lifetime of community service. As a long-standing member of the Lions Club, she was honoured by the city for her dedicated efforts and was known for inaugurating the largest classified book fair in Quebec.

She is survived by her loving husband Martin, her daughter Kimberley her son-in-law, Frank and her grandchild Kaeden. A celebration of life will be held in the next month. please reach out to the family for further information. In lieu of flowers, a donation to Operation Smile is exactly what she would like.
