My deepest sympathies to all the family. I will miss dropping in on you to see how you were. You were a good friend.

To the Cool family.  I miss my Mary, Mary, quite contrary who had such a funny, dry sense of humor. You would make us laugh with your quick hilarious rebuttals to teasing but we know you secretly loved our teasing.  You were special, my dear friend, and will be dearly missed. We so wanted you to reach the big 100 and, by golly, you almost did.  We will meet again. R.I.P. in the arms of our Lord and with your beloved Larry.

My Aunt Mary will always hold a special place in my heart.   After my Mother died, Aunt Mary & Uncle Larry included us more & more in their lives - taking us in for some of the summer and including us in Christmas & Easter plans.  I always loved Christmas in Deux Montagnes...and Aunt Mary fussing over Christmas dinner!  She was a wonderful woman and I learned a lot from her.  I am sad that I wasn't able to see her again...

Aunt Mary I am going to miss you when we get together with all the Cusack’s in the summers.My cousins in St John put a lot of work into planning that special day and cooking us a great meal.It was always important to you to see your family in NB and after Uncle Larry died then Mimi made sure that she brought you here at least once a year.You loved getting up to Sussex and going to Barnesville to see your relatives there.




Uncle Larry I always bring you some Palomine chocolate bars and when I would talk to you on the phone you would still have some months later.as you would ration them.I I will always remember going to Roger’s Campground years ago and usually I went with Aunt Gen or one of my friends .We would stay in Mimi’s house trailer and visit you and Uncle Larry.I can still picture your Airstream trailer and us sitting outside sharing stories and laughing.You had a good sense of humor.Another memory is visiting you in your house one winter.I flew to Quebec with a friend from Medicine Hat and we met Theresa and some of her friends to go skiing in the mountains.We rented a condo at the ski hill then Char and I stayed with you a couple of nights.You had been busy getting our rooms ready and you said to me “I shook the farts out of the sheets”I thought that was so funny.Sometimes when I would talk to you on the phone you would be upset that Gen would call you when you were watching Coronation Street,your favorite tv show.Then Gen would complain that you called her when she was trying to watch Murder She Wrote in the evening.You are now in heaven with all your siblings and Uncle Larry.Mimi is right that Fr Paul must be in charge of heaven now.In a matter of seven days he arranged a spot for you.If he can do that in seven days God knows what he will accomplish next.Rest in peace and no more worrying.

Memories of my Aunt Mary:

She introduced to me to Coronation Street decades ago and I continue to watch the show regularly.  The storylines always provided conversation topics when I would chat with both her and Uncle Larry.
I always looked forward to our chats as my husband I would regularly travel through Montreal on our way from Toronto to the Maritimes for vacations.  In the early days of cell phones, I had the timing down so that the call would be treated as a local one and I did not get billed for any long distance.  I had plenty of time to catch up on the news with both of the Cools.
During those chats Aunt Mary was always fully up to speed on everything happening with her children and grandchildren.  She knew about new jobs, what courses were being taken in university, etc.  She was proud of everyone and delighted in keeping me informed.
She was also a lady who always presented herself as one.  She always looked stylish and I did love those gold bangles she always wore.
I will miss her presence in my life but know she is in a place of worry-free peace.

Dear I Mara and Larry unfortunately because of the restrictions I feel sad that I’m unable to give my condolences in person but is totally understandable . Please express to all family members of my utmost sincerest condolences. Please also tell Tristan and Marc that surely were blessed to have had their grandparents for the time they did. God bless all of you. The one thing I’ll always remember about Mrs. Cool was her beautiful smile. My prayers are with all of you.

Dear Cool Family,
Please accept my deepest condolences on the passing of your Mother.
I feel your loss very deeply.
We shared so much over the years;
The Rosary, stories and jokes, our mutual love of our birthplace New Brunswick and GANONG’s chocolates!
The years flew by but our friendship was constant.
I know we will meet again on that “Beautiful Shore”.
May her precious soul, “Rest In Peace”.
