Very sad to hear of Paul's passing
Many fond memories of him growing up in Montreal through the Irish community and
other family gatherings. Always in great form 
and very good to me and those around him.

He was a great friend to my parents Tom and Joan and it was always great to see him at various events. Whether it was a Gaelic game, a feis or an Irish social event, Paul always had a huge smile on his face and was the happiest guy in the room.

Greetings Morans,

I will never forget some of the best weekends of my younger life were spent in Montreal at the Montreal Shamrocks spring 7’s tournament for Gaelic Football.

The best part of the weekend was the endless hospitality we received at the Morans house the nights AFTER the tournament - the most hospitable home I think in all of Quebec - Paul was a legend in the Gaelic Community and someone my father always admired!

He is among the last of a generation and while he will be missed - his legacy will live on forever - he was the true definition of a gentleman!

May he rest in peace!

Sending our deepest sympathy to Donna and all his family at this sad time. Everyone in our family was very fond of Paul. He was so sweet and full of fun. Even as a child I remember when he and Donna were at our home for a party, with the laughter and the music,  and how my parents loved his company. Donna was my grade 2 teacher that year, and I was in awe that she was there too! My heart smiles when I think of him. Heaven will be that much brighter with his presence there, and I know he is receiving a warm welcome there., too. 
God bless him and all his loved ones always.

Paul was an inspiration, a passionate man for sport  and fitness and a passionate man promoting the continuation of Irish culture abroad. 
Many people , including myself who were lucky enough to  receive his guidance , his quiet words of encouragement and his counsel know the value of it. Paul always had time for a laugh and chat. He clearly loved his family , I really appreciate the time I got to spend with him. Good bless , and thank you Paul.

Dear Donna and the rest of the Moran tribe,
May this time of sadness be also a time of great blessings to all of you! " Blessed are you who mourn, you will be comforted." In the Holy Land that was Ireland, the good people found much comfort as they gathered and prayed, and cried, and told stories, and they cried and they laughed, and they believed that their loved who was taken from them was taken by the Lord to be with Him. And they remembered that nothing would ever come between them and God's love for them. Paul, who was like all of us, was not perfect, but he was the one chosen by God to be the son and brother and husband and father and grand father and a great friend to all who knew him; and now he has been made perfect,  and he can look on the face of God. So, Paul will live in your hearts and your fond memories of him will be a comfort to you. And we will not forget Paul either.
Donna, You are in my prayers and Paul has been in my Mass intentions these last few days and will continue to be in the days ahead. I wish I could be with you but I'm on "missionary work" in Florida. I'm trying to see if there is anything can be done to keep a former President out of jail and convince folk not to vote for the mis-guided fellow again.
