Dear Pat & Family
It was my pleasure to work with Garry in Sonoma for several years before I moved on. I tried to take him with me!  When Sam spoke it was a reminder of the many times we had talked of our sons. Our words of reaassurance were "we have taught them everything they need to know in this life, they just have to learn to apply the knowledge".  Garry always had the words to lighten the moment & to bring reason to the highly charged times in the office.  He was a family man, with values & I respected that. I cherished his friendship & I will think of him each time I order a fish taco!

I was saddened to hear of Garry's passing.  As Barry Henry wrote, it seemed like yesterday we were all hanging out at Volta School in Chicago.  You and Garry opened your second home here in Phoenix to Carol and we deeply appreciated this gesture of kindness.  Garry was truly gentle sole and we will all miss him.

Fran and I were very sadden to hear of  your sudden loss. It seems like just yesterday I meet Garry at Volta School, but that was 53 years ago.  We haven't seen you two very often since you moved from the Chicago area but you have always been in our hearts. Please accept our deepest sympathy.

To Pat and family,
I can't believe that I won't be talking to Garry any more. We were supposed to start working together again in January. I will miss him sitting next to me. He won't be there to give me advice, to share his wisdom, and impart a joke or two. I feel blessed to have worked with him during this summer. And, although I was the newcomer, but I felt that Garry, Noel & I were like the Three Musteteers. I really miss Garry. Thank you for sharing him with me for two wonderful years.

Thinking of you, Pat and the challenges ahead on so many levels.  Be well and well comforted.  You have touched so many people and I know how important your life with Gary was.

To the Singer family,
     I am deeply sorry to hear that you have lost Garry so suddenly and unexpectedly.  I cannot believe I can't talk to him, can't hear his witty responses and will miss solving tax problems together.  He was one of the few people I've met whose character was so balanced, was also possessed an amazing ability to logically analyze and explain business problems.  He asways welcomed me to work with a genuinely warm greeting.  My deepest sympathy to your family.
     I will truly miss him.

My thoughts and prayers are with Garry's family and friends.  I was proud to work with him for almost 10 years and considered him a friend.  He was always a pleasure to be around and will be missed.

I am sorry to hear about the loss of Gary. I always enjoyed working with him.  He was a wonderful and delightful person.
