1919-2012
Our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother passed away peacefully on Dec. 26, 2012. Born Jan 3, 1919, in St. Louis, Mo., she was raised in Los Haros, Zacatecas. She married the late Antonio Saldivar on June 9, 1943, and returned to the United States in 1970, to St. Helena. She is survived by her six children Manuela (Gabriel), Candelario (Veronica), Martha (Domingo), Carmen (and the late Ignacio), Olivia (Javier), Abraham (Kim); 16 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. The Rosary will be 7 p.m., Wednesday, Jan. 2, 2013, at St. Helena Catholic Church, near Tainter Street and Oak Avenue. The Funeral Mass will be 1 p.m., Thursday, Jan. 3, 2013, at St. Helena Catholic Church, followed by burial at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery, 2121 Spring St. in St. Helena.
