Elle était la fille de Marie-Ange St-Denis et de feu Léopold Girard.

Outre sa mère, elle laisse dans le deuil sa famille religieuse, ses frères et sœurs; Lionel (Rose-Marie Goyette), Marguerite (feu Jacques Ouellette), Rita (André Crochetière), Bernard (Denise Drapeau), Aurore (François Rousseau), feu Suzanne (Robert Breton), Henri (Nicole Boudriau), Gisèle (Gilles Paradis), Lucie (Gérald Bouchard), Alice (Yves Nantais), feu Léo (Manon Duhaime), Madeleine (Daniel Laplante), Rolland (Manon Gauthier) et Thérèse (Luc Rousselle), ainsi que de nombreux neveux et nièces, oncles et tantes, cousins et cousines et beaucoup d’amis d’ici et de Kingston.

Sœur Girard sera exposée le jeudi 27 décembre de 14 h à 16 h et de 19 h à 20 h 30 et vendredi à compter de 12 h 30 à la Maison-Mère des Sœurs de la Présentation de Marie de Saint-Hyacinthe, 650 rue Girouard Ouest, Saint-Hyacinthe. Les funérailles auront lieu le vendredi 28 décembre à 14 h en la chapelle de la Maison-Mère, suivies de l’inhumation au cimetière de la communauté.

At the health service of the Sisters of the Presentation of Mary in Saint-Hyacinthe, on December 21, 2012, passed away at the age of 74, Sister Cécile Girard, after 52 years of religious life.

She was the daughter of Marie-Ange St-Denis and the late Leopold Girard. She also leaves many nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles, cousins and many friends here and in Kingston.

The viewing for Sister Girard will be on Thursday, December 27, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 8h30 as well as Friday from 12h30 at the Motherhouse of the Sisters of the Presentation of Mary in Saint-Hyacinthe, 650, Girouard Ouest Street, Saint-Hyacinthe. The funeral will be held Friday, December 28 at 2 o’clock in the chapel of the Motherhouse, followed by interment in the cemetery of the community.
