All my deepest sympathy on Tony's passing to Shirley & all the family!  So many memories over the last 48-49 years of card games, etc... with Roger Lafond & family, etc..too many to mention but deep in my heart forever. RIP Tony! love you!  All my love & prayers  to everyone. Bernie xx   

I was fortunate enough to see him before he passed.  We reminisced about karoake, just one of his favourite things he did to bring people together to just have some fun. As he reflected he smiled through his discomfort and he said   " That was alot of fun wasn't it?"  Thank you Tony for all the fun,all the laughs,always making feel welcomed and the memories of your warmth and kindness.  I will never forget you. 💜💜💜

Thank you Tony for all the great times at Casa Lasorsa for all the good times the adults had the kids had more.  I remember the first time we met and how fantastic you were with Tristan.  It was effortless and natural for both you and Shirley and that made it more beautiful.  I knew you were good people almost instantly and the world needs more of that.  You are missed and will always be remembered.

I am so very sorry for your loss. He has left behind many memories that will cherished by all who knew and loved him. He will forever be in our hearts. I am sure he is up there singing and cooking up a storm and doing all the things he loved to do.

First, Lucie and I want to offer our sincere condolences to dear aunt Shirley, hers and uncle Tony's children, and the whole family.

Tony was a good man all around. He was straightforward, hardworking, and sociable.  He also had quite a sense of humour. I'll never forget the corn roasts my parents would host every summer in Howick and the fun we had! Nor will I forget the famous cribbage games that would last for hours. I'll remember his love of music above all, the colourful garden he and Shirley were so proud of, and all the vegetables he grew. He loved to get up early, sit in the backyard with his cup of coffee, chase the squirrels away, and watch the birds that would visit him.  

I know quite a few people that will be happy to welcome you up there Tony. I'm sure that you'll be as much the life of the party as you ever were. We love you and we'll miss you Tony! RIP


Although I met Tony only a few times, his family has shared many moments with me over the years. Because of this, I believe he lived life on his terms, and the song "I did it my way" reminds me of him. To live life on your own terms is brave, to be a fun person doing it is awesome! Such wonderful memories you will have to cherish. My sincerest condolences to the family & friends of a man who loved well and was well loved. xoxo

Dear Tony you will be sorely missed by everyone who knew you! I will always remember your kindness shown towards my mother and father in their later years.  I will always appreciate your generosity as a wonderful host when ever we visited and will never forget your sense of humour, your teasing,  and your love of singing karaoke with my husband Paul!! Until we meet again, God speed!!

I am truly sorry for your loss and would like to extend my most sincere condolences to the entire family. 
Sandra, I loved reading your fond memories of him. I think we all loved Chef Pasquale’s show especially when he started singing O Sole Mio. Every time you will hear the rat pack or Andrea Bocelli sing, you will think of him smiling. 



My step father loved to sing and he set up karaoke in their basement.  He Loved the Rat Pack, Nat King Cole, Tony Bennett, Andrea Bocelli  and many others and Big Band Music. In the hospital we brought his CDs in and played his music, his hand would tap to the music.  We brought in a lamp from home instead of using the bright florescent light in the hospital room. I hold dear memories of him singing  in the kitchen as he watched "Pasquale" (the singing Chef) on CBC TV as he made his delicious spaghetti sauce and meatballs on Sunday Mornings. We All learned to play cribbage and would enjoy playing cards after dinner.  He was an excellent gardener and grew most of their veggies in the community garden and their own back yard and all the flowers for my Mom’s horticultural flower entries!  Cherished memories!
