Barbara was born in the Eastern townships of Quebec the daughter of Howard Mcleod and Alma Ring and was predeceased by her son Lawrence Nelson.
Mother, Grandmother, Sister, Aunt,Cousin, Friend, Barbara went by many names but her favorite was Ma. While she lived in Carleton Place, Ont, she became Ma to so many. She loved the kids that frequented the farm and quickly adopted them all in her heart. Her memories often went back to those precious times and the happiness that they all brought her.
She is also predeceased by her second husband Mr. John Southworth whom she met upon her return to Quebec.
She is now reunited with so many loved ones that have passed before but will be greatly missed by all those that are left behind. She was quick with a joke and loved to laugh.She loved to bake, Sausage rolls, minced meat tarts, double chocolate pudding cookies, our taste buds will miss her as much as our hearts do.
A service will be held on Monday October 28, 2019 at 11am. Family gathering begins at 10 am at
