Barry Andrew Smith

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Barry Andrew Smith, 66 years old, born June 15th, 1955. Barry sadly passed away on March 5th, 2022, after a long struggle with esophagus cancer. He is finally at peace.

Barry was pre-deceased by his father Donald Quentin Smith and his sister Carla Smith. He is survived by his beloved mother, Patricia Mae Smith and his 4 beloved sisters, Brenda Smith, Darlene Blair, Donna Bergola and Cheryl Smith.

He was loved and cherished by his family, including his nieces and nephews and he was cared for by Brenda and her son Gryffin Churchill in theses last 3 years of the cancer battle. The last weeks were very heavy and difficult for them, but despite the heaviness, they continued to love him and take care of him round the clock at home till his last breath.

He will forever be remembered as the only son in a family of 6 children, as the pain in the butt brother who had to compete with 5 sisters for one bathroom growing up and as the uncle who loved to make his nieces and nephews pull his finger just to make everyone laugh,

There will be a small, private service held with only close family in attendance.
