Brian, you and I went through some challenges together and persevered. I always felt responsible even though there was nothing I could have done more. These things evolve as they do and we become passengers as they spiral. I still feel I owe you and every day I am tormented by how it ended up. You were always a good soul and rolled with the punches. I will never forget that and I will never forget you. I hope you know that I am a better because of what we went through together. Rest in peace.

Brian is my true friend, but I loved him like the brother I never had. We enjoyed good times and shared our challenges together, with sincere love and support for each other. Brian was "Life" and represented all that is good in life, and he loved and lived it to the max - his way. In his own special way, he brought sunshine to all he touched. His love of his wife & family, as well as his friends was boundless and these values are something both Paule and I always admired. Brian may have left this life, but the relationship and his spirit will live on. For Paule and I , there is no greater memory than the sound of your laugh, Brian, and your infectious smile! Our sincere condolences to Dorothy & the family.
It broke all our hearts to lose you.
But you didn't go alone.
For part of us went with you,
The day God took you home.

My sincerest condolences to the Bourque Family, Brian made his mark here on West Coast as well. I remember fondly when attending meetings in Toronto, spending time with Brian, sharing a drink, sharing work and personal stories. The thread of conversation was always positive. It is with deep sadness that I heard of Brian's passing today. Brian was such a loving father, energetic and charismatic. I can remember his smile which was contagious! I am happy I was able to see you again while in St. -Lambert.
I wish you strength and happy thoughts, rather than sadness...but I know he will always be remembered.

Yesterday, March 24th, I learned of Brian's passing. For the past 24 hours, I have thought about when we first met and all those years after. Similar to many of his coworkers here in Canada, we met back in 2003. Over these years, we engaged in business challenges, happy occasions, sad occasions, personal challenges and health challenges. Throughout these, Brian was always the most positive person in the room.
From a business perspective, Brian's knowledge of our industry, his strong work ethic and his ability to communicate and build relationships were the ingredients to his and our successes. His customers loved and respected him in both Toronto and Montreal.
From a personal perspective, despite all his health challenges, he never let these get in the way of his business, his Family or his many friends. It was always about others, not himself. He counselled countless numbers of friends throughout his life supporting them through both personal and health challenges.
I was a beneficiary of his friendship, support and counsel especially over the last 6 years through my wife's sickness. Thank you for all your support Brian.
Business meetings, parties, weddings and FSG North provide me with some of the fondest memories of how wonderful a man Brian was. These will stay with me for the rest of my life. I will never forget the positive human traits Brian possessed and lived daily.
I will miss Brian as will many others.
Dorothy and Family, my deepest sympathy for your loss and know that my thoughts and prayers are with you all.

I was so saddened to hear of Brian’s passing. We shared so many great memories over the years. Many involved golf and betting. One that I should never have made and will remember paying off when I lost.
No matter what health issues Brian faced he always kept a smile and a positive attitude. The glass was always half full. Dorothy my thoughts are with you.
Brian I will miss you my friend.

I am so saddened to have learned of Brian’s passing. I first met Brian in 1977, as we attended the same introductory Sales Training class at Moore Business Forms. Our paths didn’t cross again until Brian and Dorothy returned to Canada and Brian rejoined the Canadian Division in Toronto. The years apart melted away and I so enjoyed being reconnected. He was an important member of the “FSG North” golf group. In addition to his golf clubs he always had a trunk full of tools, ready to tackle any and all projects at the cottage, including whipping my boat lines! That was such a Brian thing to do. Please accept my sincere condolences on your loss. He was a super guy, a great “work mate”, truly one of the good ones. Boys be as proud of him as he was of you!!

It is difficult to put into words what Brian meant to me and my family. We were the best of friends for the past 44 years. Whether it was shared family vacations, hikes on the Vermont Long Trail, Xmas holidays together, dinners and card games, or just one on one talks whenever we could, I will always cherish the precious times I got to spend with my good friend, Brian.
From our family to our extended family - the Bourques, we offer our heartfelt condolences for your loss. There are endless memories that we will carry with us and keep in a special place in our hearts.

Brian and I worked together for years as he managed the printing for Aviva insurance. He was patient with all my crazy-making changes, mentoring me in the world of printing, and always had a huge smile and a laugh. I was young and inexperienced when I started there but he always treated me with respect. Everyone who worked with him loved him and I feel privileged to have known him.

I met Brian at Moore Business Forms back in the day. We shared an office. It didn't take me long to realize there was something special there. I was privileged to watch Brian develope over the years. He did it all with his love and enthusiasm. Friend, Husband, Father, Grandfather, Mentor, Business Professional and much more. He will be missed but not forgotten. Thanks you Brian for sharing.

I was so saddened to hear the news of Brian's passing. I was fortunate to have grown up on the same street as the Bourques.
We were always out playing together and Brian was the "gentle giant" who looked out for all of us. His kind and caring nature truly will be missed.
My condolences go out to his family, with a special hug to my dear friend, Sheila.

Dear Dorothy and Family,
We were so sad to learn of Brian’s passing. During times of loss we find ourselves troubled by things we do not understand. We are thinking of you and your precious family during this sad time and reflecting on the life of a friend. Remembering Brian’s amazing laugh will always bring a smile to our faces. Wishing you peace. Brian leaves a legacy worth celebrating. RIP Brian.

Brian was one of my great friends and was an inspiration to me. We spoke often even after he retired from RRD. I always knew I could count of Brian to cheer me up even tho I knew he was going through much, much worst times than I could even imagine. He was one of the greatest men I have ever known as a friend and a colleague. I am going to miss our phone chats and promise to get together as soon as we could.
I will truly miss you my friend. Cheers bud.
