Elle laisse derrière elle ses enfants Lise Vinette (André Côté), Diane Vinette (feu Linton Baudains), Denis Vinette (feu Ann Sibley), ses petits-enfants Isabelle Martin (Yves David), feu Patrick Martin (Marie-Ève Lemaire), Nicole Vinette, Natalie Vinette (Todd Bergeron), ses arrière-petits-enfants Nathan Voyer, Pénélope Martin, Benjamin, Theodore et Charlotte Ann Bergeron, ainsi que plusieurs neveux et nièces.

Elle avait un esprit positif remarquable devant l’adversité et restera pour nous un exemple de courage, de résilience et de sérénité tout au long de sa vie, en plus de conserver son bon sens de l’humour habituel. Il lui faisait bien plaisir aussi de l’entendre lorsqu’on l’appelait « notre phénomène ». Elle se disait heureuse de ce que la vie lui avait apporté en se rappelant les bons moments passés en famille ainsi que les beaux souvenirs des voyages qu’elle a eu la chance faire.

Une vie bien remplie, un repos bien mérité.

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Cécile Blais Vinette, widow of Édouard Vinette who died from the consequences of his war injury after 35 years of their happy marriage.

She leaves behind her children Lise Vinette (André Côté), Diane Vinette (late Linton Baudains), Denis Vinette (late Ann Sibley), her grandchildren Isabelle Martin (Yves David), late Patrick Martin (Marie-Ève Lemaire), Nicole Vinette, Natalie Vinette (Todd Bergeron), her great-grandchildren Nathan Voyer, Pénélope Martin, Benjamin, Theodore and Charlotte Ann Bergeron, and several nephews and nieces.

She had a remarkable positive attitude in front of adversity and will always remain for us an example of courage, resilience and serenity throughout her life, all the while keeping her usual good sense of humor. We also enjoyed making her happy by calling her “our phenomenon”. She would often say that she appreciated what life has brought to her as she remembered the good time spent with the family and the wonderful trips she had the chance to make.

A full life well lived, a well-deserved rest.
