Cyprienne Kelly (Monfette)

It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Cyprienne Ebby Kelly (née Monfette), at the Charles Lemoyne Hospital, on August 10, 2023, with her son Kevin at her side.

Born in Temiscaming, Quebec to Zelpha (Boucher) and Ferdinand Monfette and predeceased by her loving husband Leo “Bud” Kelly, she will be sadly missed by her children Christine (Peter Clennett), Doreen, Nancy (the late Nikolas Salomon), Kevin and Gary (Jane Fullerton); her cherished grandchildren, Bryan (Jana), Michael (Wendy), Scott (Anne), Philip (Sara), Victoria (Timothy) and her adored great-grandchildren, Emmett James, Elson Leo and Quinn Cyprienne. Dear sister-in law of Mary Margaret Kelly, Linda Reid and Mary Kelly. Predeceased by her sister Solange Tarte, sister-in-law Rosemary Labine, brothers-in-law Pierre-Paul Tarte, Orville Kelly, Desmond Kelly, Robert Reid and Leo Labine. Loved by many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

Our beloved mother was devoted to her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Family, deep faith and community filled her life as a loving and nurturing matriarch, a skilled businesswoman and a pillar of support at St. Francis of Assisi Church.

Resting at Collins Clarke MacGillivray White Funeral Home, Dignity Memorial, 307 Riverside Drive, St-Lambert.

Visitation Friday, August 25, 2023, 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and Saturday, August 26, 2023, from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.

Funeral mass will be held on Saturday, August 26, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Francis of Assisi Church, 844 Notre-Dame Avenue, St. Lambert.

A graveside ceremony will be held in Temiscaming at a later date.
