Elizabeth Reeves (nee Mcpherson)

Will be sadly missed by the many devoted relatives and friends she so happily cherished and loved. Mom,Bessie,Auntie Betty,Nana or Nonnie passed away May 18th,2014 peacefully in her quiet,home,room at CHSLD Saint-Lambert-sur-le-Golf, Saint-Lambert, Quebec. Elizabeth was the beloved wife of the late Alfred H. Reeves of Saint-Lambert.Her only son Alfred J.Reeves ( Betty) residing in Burlington,Ontario gave her the gift of six grand-children, Gary Reeves,Hamilton,Allyson Reeves,Kitchener,Marybeth Vanoosterhout (Andy),Burlington,Tim Reeves,Toronto,Ted Reeves (Lee) Rockwood and Stephany Lawrence,Guelph and the great-grandchildren Skylar and Liam Vanoosterhout,Ben,Lindsay and Erin Reeves and Jack, Cate and Sam Lawrence.

Elizabeth also embraced her daughter-in-law's children Jane Fortune-Robitaille,Toronto and Andrew Fortune,Candiac,Qc and the grand-children Michelle,Deserie and Justin Robitaille, Midland,On and Hailey and Madison Fortune,Candiac,Qc. Elizabeth was blessed with the love of her only brother Jack (Marguerite) now deceased,Vancouver.

She quietly,slowly journied home to meet Jesus with the gentle love of her neice Debbie (Brian) Joel,Surrey,B.C. and her many cousins, neices and nephews,families and cherished friends close by. Elizabth was truly "One of a Kind". Elizabeth distinguished herself during 33 years of leadership and service as concession-owner and hostess at the Golf Club of Saint-Lambert.In 2009 over 100 friends celebrated with her 100 years of life; a beautiful Eucharistic Celebration at Saint-Francis of Assissi on to a delicious luncheon with special speeches of gratitude at the Club.

Special viewing on Wednesday,May 21st,2014 from 12:00 pm before celebration of her life at 1:00 pm. at Saint Francis of Assissi Church,Notre-Dame Ave.,Saint-Lambert.

Reception to follow in the Parish Hall. Followed by cremation. Internment in Oakville,On.
