It is with heavy hearts that we announce the news of Mom’s passing at the age of 97. After a few years of Alzheimer’s Mom is at peace and being reunited with the family she so missed. She was predeceased by our Dad, Kenny St. Germain in 1996 and 7 of her 9 siblings. She is survived by her 2 daughters, Julie and Cindy, her 2 grandchildren, Blake and Sarah, her 2 great-grandchildren, Hayden and Brooklyn, her brother Scott and sister Shirley. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Mom was a long term resident of Greenfield Park, having spent the majority of 64 years living on Anyon St. She was on the Champion Lanes bowling league for many years and worked on the Michael Reid Baseball Tournament for over 20 years. After Dad’s passing, the Legion became her second home. She was on the ladies auxiliary, the dart team, was a volunteer driver and attended most of the activities that the busy legion hosted. She was avid about the veterans and sold poppies for many, many years. A social butterfly by nature she was happiest when surrounded by people. A product of coming from a family of 10!
She lived a good full life and is now at rest. At Mom’s request a celebration of life will be held at the Legion, Branch 94 in late spring or early summer.
You’ve earned your wings Mom, take flight.
Love you.
