Born in Hamburg, the eldest of four children, her love for nurturing and looking after children was evident. After becoming a skilled governess, she eventually followed a family to Montreal. It was there she met her husband Erhard, with whom she shared the next 65 years, and her two sons Christopher and Alexander.
Helga was a dedicated mother first and foremost. She treasured her children and embraced every moment with them. She especially loved her role as Oma to Carina and Brandon and was amazed in meeting her great-grandchild Abigail. She had a vivacious personality and always made people around her laugh. She made friends everywhere she went and loved to work a crowd, whether on the dance floor, in the theatre or in a room full of family at ASCOM.
We will miss her strength and love but are comforted knowing she is at peace with her husband whom she missed dearly since his passing.
Please join us in celebrating her life Saturday December 9th, between 1:30 and 4pm at Collins Clarke MacGillivray White, 307 Riverside, Saint-Lambert QC J4P 1A7
