Hubert Gagnon

Il laisse dans le deuil son époux de 42 années, Roman Mycio, sa sœur Arlette Gagnon Beaudry, plusieurs nièces, neveux et cousins des familles Gagnon et Beaudry ainsi que plusieurs amis de longue date qui n’ont jamais été loin de son cœur. Il rejoint ses grands frères Dufort et Guillaume ainsi que sa sœur Anne.

Hubert était un acteur accompli du théâtre, film et télévision avec un résumé impressionnant dans le doublage au Québec notamment pour ses talents en tant qu’Homer Simpson durant 27 ans.

Des remerciements spéciaux au Dr. Bracianni, Dr. Catherine Latour, les infirmières en chimiothérapie, les deux Annie et Simon, ainsi que les autres spécialistes de la santé à l’hôpital Charles-Lemoyne et du CLSC Dr. Claudie Lapierre, Annabelle Fecteau et les infirmiers exceptionnels Sophia et Philippe qui ont démontré une constante patience, générosité et expertise avec Hubert à son domicile.

Remerciements prolongés pour Claude Campbell pour son support continu, bon sens en travaillant avec les médecins, infirmières et le CLSC durant ces dernières années.

En raison de la situation avec la Covid-19, il n’y aura pas de visites ni de funérailles.

Une célébration en sa mémoire aura lieu à une date ultérieure.

It is with profound sadness to announce the passing of Hubert Gagnon, at home, on Sunday, June 7, 2020. Hubert is survived by his husband of 42 years, Roman Mycio, his sister, Arlette Gagnon Beaudry, his many nieces, nephews and cousins of the Gagnon and Beaudry families, as well as many life-long friends who were never far from his heart. He was pre-deceased by older brothers, Dufort and Guillaume, and sister, Anne.

Hubert was an accomplished actor of theatre, film and television, with an impressive resume in voice dubbing credits but most well-known for his talents as Homer Simpson for over 27 years.

Special thanks are due to Dr. Bracianni. Dr. Catherine Latour, the Chemotherapy nurses, the two Annie and Simon as well as many other care specialists at the Charles Lemoyne Hospital, and from the CLSC Dr. Claudie Lapierre, Annabelle Fecteau, and exceptionally nurses Sophia and Philippe who demonstrated their constant patient, kindness and expertise with Hubert at home.

Extended thanks are due to Claude Campbell for continuous support, common sense and handling communications with doctors, nurses and CLSC intervention over the last few years.

There will be no visitation or services at this time due to the present situation with COVID-19.

A memorial gathering and celebration of life will take place at a later date.
