John Walls

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of John Walls on May 4th, 2020 at the age of 86. Beloved husband of the late Ida Richard, cherished father of Eileen Caverly (late Richard Caverly) and Brenda Walls (Brian Grainger), devoted grandfather of Jessica and Kevin Caverly and Stephanie and Tyler Grainger. He will also be deeply missed by his great-grand daughter Madyson.

He had a successful 40 year plus career as a trader at the Montreal Stock Exchange for Nesbitt Thomson. He will be remembered for his twinkling blue eyes full of laughter, his humor, his knowledge of sports trivia and his passion for hockey and golf. He played hockey with the GPK Oldtimers and Geritol Gang for the better part of his life with many of his lifelong friends. He was the pillar of our family and leaves a void that cannot be filled. We are left with many wonderful memories.

A funeral service will be held at a later date.
