Léonard Codère

C'est avec regret que nous vous annonçons le décès, à l'aube de ses 87 ans, le vendredi 7 septembre 2012, de notre père, M. Léonard Codère, époux de feu Jeannine Marchand et fils de Paul Codère et de Germaine Roy. Ce vétéran de la 2e guerre mondiale est un fier retraité de Bell Canada (40 ans de service). Il a été membre de la direction du Club de Bridge de Saint-Lambert, dont Président, pendant plus de 35 ans. Il laisse dans le deuil ses 5 enfants Christian (Tonia), Chantal, Johane, Diane (Shunichi), Sylvie (Claude), ses 15 petits-enfants Carl-Éric, Patrick, Jean-François, Catherine, Jean-Sébastien, Maxime, Alexandra, Takumi, David-Kei, Laure-Émie, Tommio, Sophie, Olivier, Philippe, Pascale et ses 3 arrière-petits-enfants Lilia, Sienna et Frédérique. Parents et amis peuvent lui faire un dernier adieu le mercredi 12 septembre 2012 entre 14h et 17h et entre 19h et 21h à la résidence funéraire Collins Clarke MacGillvray White, 307 Promenade Riverside, St-Lambert. Les funérailles, en présence de ses cendres, auront lieu le vendredi 14 septembre 2012 à 10 h en l'église de Saint-Lambert au 41, avenue Lorne, Saint-Lambert. It is with deep sadness that we bid farewell to our father, Mr. Léonard Codère, loving husband of late Jeannine Marchand and son of Paul Codère and Germaine Roy, on September 7th, 2012, one month before his 87th birthday. This veteran of the 2nd World War was a proud retiree of Bell Canada (40 years of service). He also has been a member of the Board of directors, including President, of the St-Lambert Bridge Club for over 35 years. He leaves behind his 5 children Christian (Tonia), Chantal, Johane, Diane (Shunichi), Sylvie (Claude), his 15 grandchildren Carl-Eric, Patrick, Jean-François, Catherine, Jean-Sébastien, Maxime, Alexandra, Takumi, David-Kei, Laure-Emie, Tommio, Sophie, Olivier, Philippe, Pascale and his 3 great-grandchildren Lilia, Sienna and Frédérique. The family will receive condolences on Wednesday, September 12, 2012, between 2 p.m. and 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. at the Funeral Home Collins Clarke MacGillivray White, 307 Riverside Drive, St-Lambert. A ceremony, with his ashes, will take place on Friday, September 14th, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. in St-Lambert Church, 41 Lorne Avenue, St-Lambert.
