

The passing of Lucille Olive (Kay)(Nason) Brown, wife of the late Lewis Nason and Harold Brown, occurred peacefully with her family by her side at the Charles LeMoyne Hospital, Greenfield Park, Qc on April 16 2026. Born on July 31 1927, she was a daughter to the late Odber and Nora (Barber) Kay.
A loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, Lucille will be lovingly remembered by her children: Sandy (Pete) Marshall of Bowden, Ab, Janet Nason (Larry) of Greenfield Park, Qc and Elaine Nason of Canal, NB, her grandchildren: Travis and Erin, who she helped raise, her step-grandchildren: Beth, Karen, Julie, Tina; great-grandchildren: Jacob, Charley and Olivia and step great-grandchildren: Jennifer, Tim, Samantha, Elizabeth, Connor and Quinn.
In addition to her parents and husbands, Lucille was predeceased by her son Jim Nason, her step-daughter Eleanor Brown, her step grandson, David Silver, and her sister Norma Kay.
Lucille was an impressive knitter and made many sweaters for her family as well as stuffed toys for both family, friends and to donate to various charities. She also quilted and sewed. Lucille loved swimming and continued to enjoy the water her whole life. Her claim to fame, however, for both her family and their friends, was her baking - bread, cookies, and cakes.
Lucille loved her family and her family loved her.
There will be no funeral service at this time. A celebration of life will be held later this year in St. George, New Brunswick.
