Madeleine Charlotte Jackson

Beloved wife of Howard Donnelly Jackson, cherished mother of Garry Howard Jackson, devoted grandmother of Jennifer Kwiatkowski and Chris Jackson. She will also be deeply missed by her 5 great-grandchildren; Grace Kwiatkowski (23), Jacob Kwiatkowski (21), Madeline Jackson (16), Garrett Jackson (14) and Abigail Jackson (11), as well as other relatives and friends.

In her later years she spent many hours caring for friends and family during times of need. She was compassionate and loyal. She gave her trust and love to Lorraine Goyette who oversaw and cared for her during her last few years of life.

Those who knew Madeleine will tell you that she was not only strong and stubborn but she also had the best sense of humor and would often get a fit of the giggles that was infectious. She had a big hidden sweet tooth and in November of 2021, at the age of 102, we played a full game of scrabble together.

She was one remarkable lady, was loved dearly and will be missed.

Visitations will be held by invitations only on Friday, January 28, 2022 from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m at the Collins Clarke MacGillivray White Funeral Home (307, Riverside, Saint-Lambert) followed by a celebration of life at 2 p.m. at the chapel of the funeral home.
