Mary Elizabeth Sharpe

Mary Elizabeth Sharpe, 82, of Greenfield Park, Quebec, passed away on Monday January 18th, 2021 at Suroit Regional Hospital after a courageous battle with Lung Cancer. She was born in Verdun on March 6th, 1938, the daughter of the late George and Ellen (Driscoll) Sharpe.

Mary's life, love, and passion was her family which she was extremely proud of. With her kind heart, good nature, and dedication, she was always there to help them. She also loved knitting, bingo, eucre, doing puzzles, and spending time with her many friends.

She is survived by her children; Timothy Harding and his fiance Alberta Blaine of Altona, NY, Tracy Simmons and her husband Alan of Morrisonville, NY, James Harding and his companion Carolyn Hall of St-Etienne-de-Beauharnois; her grandchildren, Stephanie, Jacqueline, Dustin, Troy, Justin, Alan, Jasper, Nicholas, and Felicia; her brother, Michael Sharpe; her 10 great-grandchildren and her many nieces and nephews.

Mary was predeceased by her parents; her husband, Victor Castine of Champlain, NY; her brother, George Sharpe; her sister, Theresa Barnett; her grandson, Sheldin Deso; and her nephew, Timothy Sharpe.

Private funeral services are entrusted to Collins Clarke MacGillivray White Funeral Home (307, Riverside, Saint-Lambert).

In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the Canadian Cancer Society. Due to the covid pandemic a family and friends celebration of Mary's life will be held at a later date.
