Mary will be greatly missed by Richard, her husband of 55 years, her daughter Carolyn (Jamie) and her grandsons Riley and Logan. As well as her siblings Louise (Pat), Joe (Dale), Anthony and Christine (Don) and by her nieces, nephews, great-nephews, many cousins and many friends that she touched throughout her years.
She is reunited with her parents, Vincenzo and Stella, her siblings gone before her, Peter, Dominic and Frank, and also her brother-in-law, Doug and sister-in-law, Lou.
Even though she was taken so abruptly from us her loving heart leaves a light that will never be extinguished. Mary lived for moments like watching her grandsons, Riley playing basketball and Logan playing piano. Watching Rick play his guitar and listening to Carolyn sing. She loved all animals and they all loved her, especially the little Westies that owned her heart, Dusty, Frosty and Snowball. She loved being with family and friends more than anything and her dry sense of humor made us laugh everyday. She was truly a kindhearted soul.
Mary enjoyed a successful work life that included Agra Monenco, Osisko and CTV but she was especially proud to have been named the very first female supervisor during her 25+ years at Petro Fina, which later became Petro Canada.
Please join us on May 22, 2022 at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 94 – located at 205 Empire, Greenfield Park - to celebrate Mary’s life the way she would like, sharing stories and laughs with family, friends, music and a drink.
Visitation will be 1:30pm to 3:30pm and the service will begin at 4pm followed by a small reception
“Me and you are subject to the blues now and then
But when you take the blues and make a song
You sing them out again”
In lieu of flowers donations to the SPCA, or a foundation of your choice, would be greatly appreciated.
