It is with deep sadness that we announce the death of our mother Muriel Harvey on April 22, 2014. After a series of medical problems, she passed away peacefully in her sleep at age 87. A native of Scotstown, Quebec, Muriel spent her last years in her home in Greenfield Park. Devoted widow of Allen Harvey; beloved and caring mother of Janice (Emile), Paula (Dave), Karen (Bob) and Kevin (Peggy); loving grandmother of Angela, Christopher, Heather, Jeffrey, Jenna, Natalie, Robyn, Brenda and great-grandmother of Hannah, Jack. She will also be greatly missed by her two surviving sisters (Jean, Loreen) and sisters-in-law (Margaret, Muriel) and the many friends she touched with her love and caring.

on Friday, May 2, 2014 from 3 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. and Saturday, May 3, 2014 from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m., followed by a chapel service at 12 p.m. Internment at Bown Cemetery, Canterbury, Quebec, 3 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Quebec.
