Pierrette Godin

Her legacy of compassion, kindness, and a life of service to the Lord will be carried on proudly by her loved ones.

Pierrette is survived by her three daughters, Sarah, Laura, and Elizabeth; husband, Denis La Rocque; her mother, Thérèse Gionet; brothers, Hervé Godin and Laurier Godin (Julie Lacroix), and sisters Carole Godin (Jim Wilson), and Paulette Godin; as well as several neices and nephews and great neices and nephews, and many loving friends. She was predeceased by her father, Rufin Godin (2018), and brother, Christian Godin (2026).

Everyone who had the pleasure of meeting Pierrette knew her infectious love for life, joy, and laughter. Her family will deeply miss her presence in their lives. We pray for the repose of her beautiful soul; may she rest in eternal peace.

The family would like to extend their profound thanks to the Charles-Lemoyne Oncology ward and the whole team at the Centre de Soins Palliatifs Brossard for their kindness and compassionate care during the last years and months of Pierrette's life.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Mary's Church and St. Augustine of Canterbury Church.

A funeral service will be held at St. Mary’s Church (125 Grove, Greenfield Park J4V 2X2) on Friday, March 27th at 11:00 a.m. All are welcome for a reception in the church hall following the mass.
