It is with profound sadness to announce the passing of Roman Mycio, at Charles-Lemoyne Hospital, on Tuesday, November 14, 2023. Devoted husband of 42 years to the late Hubert Gagnon. Son of the late Alexander Mycio and the late Maria Topoilnycka, survived by his sisters Luba Mycio Mommers (Alexander) and Mary Mackinnon (late Steve). Roman was surrounded by many nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews as well as his extended family through the Gagnon and Beaudry families.
Special thanks to all the doctors, specialists, nurses, therapists, preposé(e)s and caregivers, as well as for the intense care he received in the last weeks. They all worked towards the same goal: to get Roman back home and at peace.
As per his wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral. Cremation has already taken place. At a future date, a celebration of life will be organized with Roman’s nearest and dearest, his family and friends.
