It is with great sadness that we share the news that after facing recent health challenges, Bill has passed away peacefully in his 91st year. He is surely delighted to finally be reunited with his beloved wife Pat Skelly (nee Shannon). Bill is survived by his daughters Julie and Diana (John), granddaughter Stephanie (Marco), step-grandchildren Melanie (Sergio) and Jason (Kristine), great-step-grandchildren Ayme, Teagan, Adara, Aiyla, Tadeo, Logan and Skylar. As well as, all the nieces and nephews, relatives and many special friends. Bill was predeceased by his parents, James and Mildred and his brothers Donald and Robert.
Bill was an accountant by trade. For over 25 years, he led the accounting department at Westeel-Rosco Limited. At the beginning of his career at the Company, in 1954, he met the love of his life and 6 months later, on June 11, 1955 the two lovebirds were wed. He and Pat had two beautiful daughters and spent the next 61 years loving life together. Bill was decisive and a leader by nature. He organized golf tournaments, cruises for the snowbirds and travelled the world with his closest friends.
He gave us memories that will last us a lifetime, one’s that have shaped us and one’s that we could never forget. He will be deeply missed by all those that know him but we are certain he is square dancing in the heavens with his beautiful wife.
