
Born to Patrick and Julia Celina Cummings on April 21, 1936 in Grand Blanc, Michigan, Ms. Cummings was sister to Patricia Jean Pulte who pre-deceased her. Ms Cummings attended Michigan State University where she received an associate degree. For the majority of her career she was a Realtor in Venice, Florida.
Anne was the leader of the folk group at Saint Owen’s Catholic Church in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan. She was active with girl scouts and boy scouts, serving as a cadet troop leader and cub scout den mother for many years.
She is survived by her children: Patricia Ann Mittelstadt (Erich Phillips), Carl Eric Mittelstadt (Nancy), Julia Celina Mittelstadt (Richard Murphy), Matthew Brian Mittelstadt (Brenda), Craig Mittelstadt (Kim) and Nora Therese Krol (Gary) and her grandchildren: Aidan, Kieran, Meagan, Patrick, Taylor, Tessa, Jackson, Danielle, Kenneth, Matthew, Bryan, Jacqueline, Corinne, Erica, Josh and Rebekah.
Ms Cummings ashes with be interned at Saint Raphael Catholic Church in Englewood, Florida. A memorial service is planned for Spring 2015. In lieu of flowers, consider making a donation to Gateway Pet Guardians, 5321 Manchester Road, Saint Louis, MO 63110. Anne was an animal lover who passed this on to her children. Anne was proud of the non-profit that her daughter, Julia, co-founded in order to save homeless dogs in East Saint Louis. While in Saint Louis, her daughter brought foster dogs to visit with Ms Cummings and fellow residents to offer comfort.
