Bertha Ann Counts peacefully passed away on May 18, 2026, at the age of 84. Bertt was born on October 15, 1941, to Frank and Bertha Mayer (nee Schmidt). She was a loving wife to the late Gary Counts, a loving mother to Cassandra Counts, Gregory Counts, and David Counts, and a cherished grandmother to Matthew Counts, Anna Counts, Bret Counts, Austin Rodgers, and Alexandra Counts.
Bertha found joy in working on word puzzles and listening to music. She was incredibly proud of her family and cherished every moment spent with them.
Memorial gathering will be held on Friday June, 12, 2026 from 10:00 AM until time of service 12:00 PM., at Hoffmeister South County Chapel 1515 Lemay Ferry Rd. Lemay, MO 63125. Inurnment will follow at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.
