To the family,
I knew Bev from work.  She would laugh at me when I would come thru her area looking for boxes for our area.  Then we became best buddies.  We would eat lunch together and arrive to work the same time in the morning at 5am.  I remember when she told me that she was going to retire.  I cried, I lost my buddy.  Then she asked me if I would help pack her up.  Let’s just say she had as much as I did.  We could finish each other sentence.  I will miss her but I know she will come to me and want to talk.  And that will be fine.  Love you so much ❤️.

Bev was a smiling, loving, helpful, and joyful woman.  We first met in the 90s at work and she was always uplifting.  She would jump in & help out every where and everyone she could.  She exuded friendliness & acceptance to everyone she met. 
She made so many friends & gave support to so many.  She accomplished so much in her career.  She was a sweet, caring, thoughtful soul that was truly loved & respected.
Thank you Bev for all you have done. It has been an honor to know you.  We will all miss you, your smiling face, & the light of love that shone from you.

We were like Thelma and Louise when we were out.  Best Friends Forever right ? Imagine two extroverts who loved to shop- watch out world here we are. The difference between us was that you were my mother-in-law. Never in a million years did I expect we’d become so close to you- but you have a way with people don’t you? The plans!! Ugh the plans we had for you.. new car, trips to Indiana our second home, you being able to do what you wanted and when . Good ole God had different plans however. You moved in and life changed.. you got sick but YOU never changed. You were the quiet force Kristy and I didn’t know we needed but we did . You grounded us, provided laughter, advice when we were down , and comforted us whenever you saw fit. You slowly drifted away while my heart slowly broke.  I tried to give you what you needed, drinks every two hours, your favorite food, and your favorite: foot rubs. Till your last breath I still felt your comfort and attempted to give you the comfort you needed. It was then God took you by the hand and led you home . Later I saw a smile on your face and I knew you were safe. I’m missing you bad right now; I miss my Thelma . But I know soon enough we’ll be shopping  in the Heaven Thrift stores-you clothes and me- tools. 💖  Love you mom akways 

Bev was a very special lade.  I lived next door to her and the whole Cato family and have wonderful memories of them all.  I really enjoyed talking on the phone with Bev this last year and a half.  So sorry for all your family for the loss of this special lady.

Beverly had a sister that wasn't listed in the obituary and that was because there had been some issues.  I knew Beverly the longest and in a very personal way.  We grew up together so close we were almost like twins.  She was the best sister one could ever have.  I have  so many memories with her that I could really write a book.  That is the one thing nobody can take away-time nor even death.  She has joined my son Daniel and the son she got to know but left us too soon Jason.  Rest in peace sister, you are finally home.

Long-lasting friendships are not easy to come by in our lives.  They are those rare friendships that endure through both good times and bad.  Such was the friendship we shared with Bev and her husband Robert.  It's so hard to believe they are both gone now.  Bev was a warm, giving, genuine person.  She loved life and she loved people.  Family, friends and strangers were recipients of her kindness and love.  She made us a part of her family for which we felt truly blessed.  She was courageous right to the end and fought for every last moment of life.  Now heaven has a new addition and we will miss you for the rest of our lives, dear friend.

Mom, where do I begin? You were the most loving, kind, giving mother. You put everyone before yourself. Your whole life you dedicated to being a mother/friend to everyone. Even up until the very end you were worried about everyone else. You saw the glass half full at all times, your positivity was unmatched. You saw the blessings in everything. We have been through so much together. So many health issues etc and you’re the reason I’m so tough. You were my strength. Matt became your son and we had the best times together. We couldn’t leave the house often the past year, but we still managed to have fun and spend quality time together. I will cherish all those memories. You wanted to be here so badly, that you fought until literally your last breath. This horrible disease took every part of you away. You never accepted that you were leaving us, that’s how much you loved us. I’m going to try and be strong for you. But, it’s so hard, a huge part of me went with you. I will do my best to continue to make you proud. I can’t wait for the day to be reunited with you. Until then, I will do my best to make you proud. I will carry you everywhere I go. Love you always and forever mom.

I extend my sympathy to Kristy and her family. Beverly was a good friend to me. I worked with Beverly at DMAAC were we laughed together and even cried a few times. My thoughts and prayers are with you at this time.
