Burt was a visionary entrepreneur, known for owning seven Christian radio stations spread across the Midwest and western states of Utah, Arizona, Colorado, and Wyoming. Beyond his professional achievements, Burt was a dedicated member of the Missouri Athletic Club, where he fostered lifelong friendships and shared his love for sports, particularly handball. Burt also served as Governor of the club for three years. Burt and his wife enjoyed their time spent at the club. He found solace and joy in remodeling and carpentry, crafting spaces for his loved ones to enjoy. He was known as a pillar of strength and embodying the qualities of a good dad. He was a man who brought joy and laughter to our lives, especially during the holiday season. One of his favorite traditions was creating a special gift-giving experience for his loved ones. He would craft elaborate riddles and clues, turning the gift hunt into a thrilling adventure. Once he hid jewelry in the tree for his beloved wife, enlisting his daughters to help find these hidden treasures. Burt embarked on memorable journeys, exploring Europe and across the United States, often combining these adventures with his work. He will be dearly missed but remembered with profound gratitude for a life well lived.
