Christina "Chris" Marie Schmelter, age 73, of St. Louis, Missouri passed away on Monday, January 22, 2024.

Chris was born November 23, 1950, in St Louis, Missouri to Charlotte Neiswander and the late James Neiswander. Beloved wife to George J. Schmelter; loving mother to George M. (Tiffany) Schmelter and Kimberly (Rick Milentz) Schmelter; cherished grandmother to Jacoby and Jaiden Schmelter-Kroeck; dear sister to Dale (Barb) Neiswander, Danny (Michelle) Neiswander, Sally (Terry) Spitzmiller; the late Kathy (Pete) Ostrich and Cindy Keck; dear sister-in-law of Vernon Keck.

Visitation for Christina will be held on Thursday, February 1, 2024, at

Hoffmeister South County Chapel from 11:00 AM until 2:00 PM.

Graveside services will follow at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.
