I was in St. Louis over the Easter weekend and drove by the house Chris lived in on Ellsworth Lane. It brought back wonderful memories. 
My Son and I went fishing in Alaska and brought back some fresh Salmon. Chris cooked it on a cedar plank.
That was the best tasting Salmon that I have ever had.

Even after 4 years,  it is impossible to be in Naples, Florida without reliving the wonderful memories of being with Chris.

Did Chris Canepa attend Oklahoma University in the early 1970s?
I was very impressed by him and always curios what became of him. He struck me as someone who make a great success of his life. He was such a nice person and had a fantastic personality. I wonder if this is the same person.  He's the right age and it looks like him but I won't know for sure until I find out if he went to OU.
Any information would be much appreciated. I did not know him well but he was kind to me and I never forgot him.

Did Christopher attend Oklahoma University in the 70's?

I have known Chris Canepa since high school.

I had a blind African American named Willie doing  yard work for me who I met through the Salvation Army St. Louis. I asked Chris if he needed any help with work on his numerous real estate holdings . Not only did he give Willie full time work but also found him a place to rent. 

Shared many great times with Chris the most memorable we’re going to the Grand Canyon and Europe together, and more recently when Chris , Cindy, Colt , Clare, Ceci, and Carys came out to Oregon and stayed at our home on the coast for a fun week during summer 2015.

At our wedding in 1992 Chris was one of my best men and as the wife and I left Meadowbrook CC the last person I saw was Chris Canepa throwing a ton of confetti on the car .

My nickname was ‘big Dan  Boulange’ . 





Chris Canepa was full of life and changed others lives as well.  We met about 35 years ago and became instant friends, spending time together in both St. Louis and Naples, Florida.  We both owned property on Keewaydin Island where we created many fun and adventurous memories together. Chris introduced me to Prince Albert of Monaco,  which resulted in years of amazing experiences.  Thank you Chris for not only enriching my life, but the lives of everyone you ever met.  Miss you already my friend.  "Jimmy The Shoe "  ( My nickname from Chris). 

Every single memory of Chris is wonderful. He was the consummate gentleman the joy of every conversation and the handsome leader. He had charisma in all the good ways, was generous with his time and ideas, and inspiring to be around.

Rest in peace beautiful Chris, and may your family be comforted as you will be missed.    Love Shelley

I have known Chris since kindergarten at Immaculata and then on to Chaminade. Chris was a grate guy. We both loved sports. I will truly miss seeing him.  You all have condolences and love. God is with you all.

My name is Chris Bond, I first met Chris in 1980  in Columbia,  MO....he was working his sales route with Sciales Foods, I was a bartender at one of his customers.... he was always incredibly nice, funny, witty, and charming... women wanted to be with him, and men wanted to be like him....
