Passed away surrounded by his family on Tuesday, April 2nd at the age of 73. Loving Partner of Karen Barrett; Loving Father of Kristin (Steve) Dehoyos, David (Michelle) Rocco and Maria Cassani “Cassie” (Brad) Loyet; Adored Grandpa of Luke, Tyler, Zoey, Gus, Rocco, Jake, Nico, Josephine & Charles; Dear Brother of Diana (Chris) Merritt; Beloved Son of the late Guido Steven and Josephine Rocco (nee Cassani); Dear Uncle of Tim (Leah) Merritt, Jamie Merritt and Robin Merritt.
David was born in St. Louis, graduated with a Master’s Degree in Psychology from Webster University, spent his career working at VA Hospital Jefferson Barracks, John Cochran VA Hospital and most recently at H&H Health Associates as a Trauma Workplace Therapist and his CWE Therapy.
David loved his music, Italian traditions, and the outdoors. He enjoyed his daily walks, hiking with Karen, Diana & Chris and was always active and on the move. He was a kind, thoughtful, smart caring man who adored his family and will be missed by everyone who was lucky enough to know him.
