Dennis Allen Bauer Sr., 84, on March 5, 2026, Beloved husband of Barbara (nee Behmke) Bauer and the late Delores (nee Sifford) Bauer; loving father of Cynthia (Robert) Blanton and Dennis Allen (Pamela) Bauer, Jr.; dear step-father of Brian Sazama, Eileen Sazama, and Deanna (Thomas) Porter; dear grandfather of Angela (Thomas) Foster, Tammy (Todd) Martin, Lindsey Heaghney, Jenna (Ryan) Mueller, Andrew Blanton, Joshua Bauer, Jonathan (Cheryl) Bauer, Brianna (Matthew) Beatty, and Brooke (James) Foster; great grandfather of Kayla (Chris) Debenport, Jake Foster, Taylor Martin, Tess Martin, Trysten Martin, Emma Trog, Cayden Mueller, Ruthann Mueller, Gareth Mueller, Lillie Blanton, Lina Bauer, William Bauer, Theodore Bauer, Isaac Bauer, Terra Bauer, Phillip Bauer, Ethan Bauer, Henry Beatty, Oliver Beatty, Liam Foster, and Sophie Foster; great great grandfather of Caelum Martin; dear brother of Michael (Patricia) Bauer; son of the late RobertA. & Irene (nee Matheny) Bauer; our loving uncle, giving friend, and faithful servant to our Lord and Savior.

Dennis was a Chaplain for Road Riders for Jesus.

Dennis loved his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ He was a faithful servant; always starting his day in prayer allowing the teaching of the gospel to guide his every step.

In his final hours, he was doing just that, serving and lending a helping hand to someone in need.

He took every opportunity to teach others Gods word. Whether it was from behind a pulpit or sitting across a table; Dennis found many way to bring the teaching of scriptures into every conversation. He stood boldly in his convictions. Never wavered. He was a fisher of men.

He also had a zest for life; looking at the world through a creative lens. From photography to wood working. Hobbies that he thoroughly enjoyed. Planning and implementing and seeing it all come to life gave him much joy.

The loss is so great as he was loved by so many. Take comfort knowing that he is with his lord and savior being told, “Well done, my good and faithful servant.”

SERVICES: Visitation 10am until time of service at 1pm Monday, March 23, 2026 at Hoffmeister South County Chapel 1515 Lemay Ferry Rd., Lemay, MO 63125. Interment to follow in Mount Hope Cemetery.
