Donald J. Gravlin

Born February 3, 1930 in Belleville Illinois, he was the son of the late Lee G. Gravlin and Elinor B. (nee Chenot) Gravlin. Dearly beloved husband of Rosemary E. (nee Barbier) Gravlin; dear father of James Gravlin, Jeanne (Rich) Rozycki, Jacklyn (Jim) Lordo, John (Marian) Gravlin, Steven (Kathy) Gravlin, Dylan Gravlin, and step-father of the late R. Albert Barbier Seper. Grandfather of (9) Leslie Gravlin, Justin Gravlin, Brett Gravlin, Ryan Rozycki, Danielle Bond, Nick Lordo, Travis Gravlin, Kimberly Gravlin and Shane Gravlin; and Great-Grandfather to (4) Keegen, Carly, Piper and Reed Gravlin. Dear brother of Joan Stephenson, and the late Lenore Vera Gravlin-Egan and Dorothy Jean Gravlin, Robert T. Gravlin, and Jack J. Gravlin; dear brother-in-law, uncle, cousin and friend of many, including his partners and clients.

Don was a graduate of St. Louis University with an MBA and Adjunct Faculty Professor at St. Louis University for 17 years. In his career served as CFO of corporations; McDonnell Douglas, Boeing, and Waddell & Reed, Inc. as a Senior Advisor, Certified Financial Planner, prestigiously for 31 years. He served in the United States Navy Reserve.

SERVICES: Visitation 9am until time of Mass at 10:15am on Friday, July 10, 2020 at the Cathedral Basilica of St. Louis 4431 Lindell Blvd., St. Louis. Interment to follow in St. Paul Churchyard.
