He was born in St. Louis, MO on May 14, 1931 to the late Horace and Catherine (nee Hogan) LaChance; stepson of Frank Lodderhose; beloved husband of Mary LaChance (nee Davis); loving father of Dennis (Barbara) LaChance, Cathy (Bill) Von der Ahe and the late Donald (Donna still survives) LaChance; dear grandfather, great grandfather, brother-in-law, uncle and friend to many.

Don was a member of the Affton Elks Club and the United Association of Pipefitters Union Local # 562.

Visitation will be held on Friday February 26, 2021 from 4-8 pm at the Hoffmeister South County Chapel, 1515 Lemay Ferry Rd. St. Louis, MO 63125. Funeral service Saturday February 27, 2021, 10:00 am in the funeral home chapel. Interment Calvary Cemetery.
