Richard “Rick” Solom, of St. Louis, passed away on December 21, 2025, surrounded by his family guided by peace and love. He was the devoted husband of Debbie Solom for 49 years, He was a loving son to Harry (z”l) and Thelma (z”l) Solom, and son (in-law) to Walter and Florine (z”l) Weiss, along with stepmother Flora Solom. He is survived by his wife, Debbie Solom; his daughter, Rebecca (Tim) Gabris, and grandchildren Ilan and Seraphina Gabris; his son, Michael Solom, and grandchildren Jenna and Megan Solom; and his brother, Murray (Marcia) Solom. He was also a beloved uncle to many nieces and nephews. Family was his life.
Rick was a man whose passion for life touched everyone who knew him. He was a chiropractor by profession and a true renaissance soul by nature. He was an artist, musician, magician, and an enthusiastic football fan, but above all, he was deeply devoted to his family and to Hashem. Known for his warmth and exuberance, Rick greeted friends and family with hugs that made everyone feel seen and cherished, no matter how recently they had last met.
Rick lived his life with generosity of spirit, joy, and deep love for those around him. His memory lives on through the countless lives he touched and the family he cherished so dearly. May his memory be a blessing.
