Edward Orin Wakefield passed away on October 16, 2025, at the age of 89. Born on January 14, 1936, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, Edward was a resident of St. Louis, Missouri. He leaves his son Mark Wakefield (Tukkatar Chantaramarnont) of Madison, Wisconsin, and daughter Lora Wakefield of Clinton, New Jersey. He is preceded in death by his parents George and Ethel Wakefield.
Edward graduated a Civil Engineer from Missouri University of Science and Technology in Rolla, Missouri, and served as a Captain in the United States Army Reserves. He was an employee of Texaco for 30 years, and was a Professional Engineer licensed in three states. He was a member of Second Baptist Church in Richmond Heights, Missouri.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Second Baptist Church, or to Fisher House of Jefferson Barracks, Missouri.
