Beloved husband of the late Ruth Schneider Simon. He was the devoted son of the late Eddie and Anna (Schurman) Simon; beloved brother of the late Marvin Simon and the late Alfred (Janet) Simon of Philadelphia, PA; dearest uncle, great uncle, cousin and friend.
Edwin was a graduate of St. Louis University, a veteran of WWII and spent all of his working years as a CPA. As a young boy, his father, who was a talented violinist, taught him to play the violin. Edwin’s greatest pleasure was practicing on the violin and then playing with several musical groups. Sincere appreciation to the staff of Pathways Hospice and Delmar Gardens of Creve Coeur for their care and comfort of Edwin.
Graveside service, Sunday, January 8th, 1:30 PM at B’nai Amoona Cemetery, 930 North & South Road. There will be no home visitation following the service. Memorial contributions preferred to the St. Louis Symphony.
