Frances Cohen

Beloved daughter of the late Mollie and the late Benjamin Weenick; adored wife for 58 years of Gerald Cohen; dear mother of Patricia, Marc, Roger and Deborah; dear mother-in-law of Bruce, Jennifer, Teri and Benjamin; dear grandmother of Katie, Peter, Simon, Hazel, Anna Memphis, Benjamin, Sarah and Charlotte; dear sister of Lois Sloofman (the late Joseph), Beverly “Bobbye” Schultz (Lloyd) and Lawrence Weenick; dear daughter-in-law of the late Max and the late Sophie Cohen; dear aunt of Benjamin, Harry, Jane, John, the late Richard and Carol.

Frances was an occupational therapist for 61 years, co-founder of the DisAbility Theater Project and longtime board member of NARAL (St. Louis).

Synagogue service Tuesday, July 24th, 1 pm at Brith Sholom Kneseth Israel, 1107 E. Linden Ave., St. Louis, 63117. Visitation begins at 12:30 pm at Brith Sholom Kneseth Israel. Interment follows at B’nai Amoona Cemetery, 930 North and South Road, St. Louis, 63130.
