I have known, admired and respected Frank Borghi for 60 plus years as a teammate, fellow Hall of Famer and friend.  If there is a nicer person in this world, I don't know who it is.    Bob Kehoe

  To know Frank was a pleasure.  He had a gift of bringing joy wherever he went.  He and my husband Bob solved all the worlds problems or at least those related to sports when Frank was a Board member and Bob a staffer. My experience knowing Frank is of him always speaking proudly of his family, and  of us talking about soccer,  My experience  knowing  Frank professionally is of a uman who guided  me, guided my husband, and guided many of our friends in how to honor and lay to rest  those we loved.  He did  this in his characteristic soft-spoken way, but with strength and compassion.    Frank

I am so sorry and sad to hear about your Dad's passing. I have such nice memories hanging around the Borghi house in high school and enjoying everyone's company. I was lucky enough after high school to see your Dad around town quite often. It was always a pleasure to see him. He was a dear,sweet man! What a blessing it is that you all, along with your children, and their children, have had the great fortune to have he and your Mom in your lives for so long; so much love and so many lovely memories to sustain you!

FRANK was proud to be an American Veteran and regularly supported our Post activities as well as many other patriotic and veterans events in our neighborhood and region.  His veterans efforts complemented his distinguished military service to the nation while he was on active duty.

May FRANK have eternal rest, and his former comrades in arms salute his distinguished military, sporting and civic service to "The Hill" and the nation. Know of our deepest sincere sympathy to his family.

Terese and family.  I believe I only met your dad one time, but through all the wonderful stories Terese told about him through the many years, I felt I knew him as well.  What a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend he must have been to have the loving family he had and so many friends.  Absolutely loved the pictures.  A very beautiful tribute for a very beautiful person.

Rose, Carolyn, Bette, Chuckie, Theresie, Tony, Frankie and Johnny:  This is how I think of all of you!  So many wonderful memories of 
Poepping St, neighbors and friends.  My sincere condolences on Frank's passing.  I have always thought of him as one of the most kind, gentle, smiling men ever. What a gift he was.  My thoughts and prayers are with you.  I loved the pictures.

I  met Frank several times,  he was a wonderful person. A real gentleman. As a fellow funeral director I found Frank to exemplify the best in our profession. My deepest condolences to all of you his family on your loss.

Rose Marie so sorry to hear about Frank.  He was a true gentleman, the nicest guy you could meet, and it was our pleasure to have known him.  We think often of the times we spent together with you and Frank while he served on the MSD Board. Our deepest sympathy.

A direct reflection of your parents just as Frank would be so proud of. Chuck,Linda and the entire Borghi family. We were very saddened to hear about the passing of Frank. It was our honor and pleasure to have met him as well as spend some time with him at some of your family get togethers. We enjoyed his smile, soccer stories and his soft gentle spirit. What a wonderful man and legacy he has left behind. May God bless the entire Borghi family.

My sincerest sympathy to the entire Borghi family for your loss. I am glad I came across this in the Hill 2000 newsletter. My parents were close friends when you were all growing up and starting your families on The Hill. It was lovely for me to see my mom there in one of the wedding pictures just now. What a great generation of people.You are all in my heart and prayers at this time.

One of the most sincere and nicest individuals I had the pleasure of knowing and living next to. All you need to know about Mr. Borghi is the great family he has left behind.

Frank was in the Ravens A.C.club. All of us Ravens were so proud to be in the 
same club   with the most famous and respected guy on the hill.  Ed.

You are so blessed to have had Frank as your husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather and we are all so blessed to have had him touch our lives.  The video is amazing and gives everyone such wonderful memories.

I remember Frank as a young man when he played soccer with my uncle John Galimberti and later when I joined the Bocce Club and he and Rose were members. He was a kind and great man. Cherie Galimberti Wilson

Frank was a charter member of the Carthage, MO Cardinals in the KOM League starting in 1946 and then for part of 1947.  He will be missed by the surviving members of those teams and on behalf of those men I express sincere condolences.
