
James Mitchell Cline III, age 76, of University City, Missouri passed away on Wednesday, October 27, 2021. James was born May 25, 1945 in Saint Louis City, Missouri. Dear father of Richard (Chris) Cline, loving grandfather of Nicholas (Emily Max) Cline, loving great-grandfather of Levi and Logan.
Jim was a veteran of the Army. He also served in the Coast Guard Auxiliary. Jim was a man of many talents. He was a deep sea diver and welder. He also worked in deep sea safety and recovery operations. Jim was a boilermaker and was a member of the boilermakers union. He was a member of International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers and the Carpenters Union. He was an auxiliary member of the University City Police Department and Fire Department where he assisted with search and recovery diving. Jim was a longtime member of the Lions Club. Jim could build anything, make anything and fix anything. To those who knew and loved Jim, he was Dad, Grandpa and a good Friend.
A visitation for James will be held Wednesday, November 3, 2021 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Kriegshauser Mortuary-West Chapel, 9450 Olive Blvd, Saint Louis, Missouri 63132. A second visitation will occur Thursday, November 4, 2021 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A funeral service will occur Friday, November 5, 2021 at 11:00 AM, 9450 Olive Blvd, Saint Louis, Missouri 63132. A committal service will follow at Laurell Hill Memorial Gardens, 2000 Pennsylvania Ave., Saint Louis, Missouri 63133.
